Our Vision

"For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever." (Psalm 9:18)

Here at River of Life Church we have a lot to be thankful for. We know, from experience, how Faith can be tested, how our Hope in Jesus leads us to run the race with perseverance, which leads to maturity and completeness. But this is nothing without Love. For Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Our Vision is for the needy to be remembered, for their hope not to perish. Uganda has had its fair share of trials and tribulations, each leaving its own indelible mark. But we know Love overcomes all, so, in word and deed, we love in order to bring reconciliation where the stench of tribalism has wrought havoc, to bring wisdom and knowledge where ignorance pervasively twists truth, to bring relief where there is desperate hardship and poverty, and healing where there is sickness. We might not be able to change the world on our own, but together with your help we can change the world for one, or two, or 20, or 100 of our children. And that gives us great HOPE!
